2022 Reading Goals

source

This new year is a big one for me as just before this year began I made a major professional change and while I am doing the same type work, changing companies, can take up a lot of time and it affected my reading in the last quarter of the year.  I didn't complete a lot of my goals for 2021, but am still setting the bar high for a great year of reading in 2022!

So with that here are my goals for my reading life for 2022.

1. I want to read a minimum of 222 books.  Each year I have increased my goal by one to reflect the year and although I didn't hit my goal in 2021, I still want to aim for 222.

2. I want to keep my goal of 100 ebooks for 2022 because I would like to challenge myself to read a few more physical books this year, so I would like to track this and read at least 100 physical books in 2022.

3. My third challenge last year was to increase my Netgalley percentage and while that didn't happen it wasn't for lack of trying!  I want to keep this goal and challenge myself to aim high to get my percentage up to at least 25%.

And the challenge that I love to do each year is:

Where Are You Reading?
In this challenge, I keep a Google Map and place a pinpoint at each spot where a book takes place.  The link to my google map will also be in the sidebar all year round, so anyone can check out where I have been reading!

If you would like to participate - check out Book Journey.  She hosted this challenge in the past, not sure if she is hosting again, but as this is my favorite thing to do, I am continuing!
