Goodreads:  Twenty-something Karsynn is now a boss but she's not so much The Devil Wears Prada as she is The Angel Wears Payless. With a brighter career, things should be going better for Karsynn, right? Wrong. There's now a new director at the office--Carter Lockwood, and he's brought his reputation for wrecking havoc amongst the ladies. Karsynn prides herself in being the only one impervious to Carter's good looks. In fact, she takes great pleasure in blowing on the embers of Carter's hostility.

Karsynn thinks Carter is arrogant and obnoxious. Carter thinks Karsynn is an ignorant, sassy spitfire. But when they start working closely together, they discover that first impressions can be deceptive. Karsynn may be winning the battle against Carter, but will she lose the war? And more importantly, will she lose her heart?

Kritters Thoughts:  A companion novel to Confessions of a Call Center gal that I reviewed here last year on the blog and was definitely excited to read Lim's second book.  With a few repeat characters, it was great to return to the call center for a different story.  Kars is the main character in this book and as a manager she has to work closely with the new call center director - Carter Lockwood who has a few secrets up his sleeve.

A wonderful chick lit book that has a little bit of romance, a little bit of single galness, and a host of friends who round out Kars inner circle perfectly.  I absolutely loved the people at the call center, they all have their own distinct personalities and mannerisms, but I could see them all so clearly in my mind as people who may enjoy working at a call center.  Carter was a perfect opposite to Kars and I definitely enjoyed reading their interactions.

A great chick lit to start out the new year, may have read this in 2012, but excited to have it as my first review in 2013!

Rating: absolutely loved it and want a sequel

Ebook 2012 Challenge: 81 out of 25
