Kritters Thoughts:  A perfect spot on story about three friends and how we can each covet what the other has and instead should appreciate what we really have in our lives. From page one, I loved each of the friends in their own ways, they were unique, but all so real, I could picture them.  

Waverly is the narrator of the book and the whole story is told from her perspective, I liked this, although I enjoy when the author changes voice, it was nice to have a full story from one point of view.  Amy and Kate are her best friends and within the book have issues of their own to overcome.  

The other aspect that I truly adored was that the setting of this book was right outside my back door, in Northern VA and DC.  I have been to places that the characters were throughout the book.  The quiet hint about DC and the politics that can overtake the people, is true and although it was subtle, I loved it.

This book made me want to call my friends and first make sure they were all safe, sound and happy, but to also just spend time with them either in person or on the phone just chatting as we girls can!    


Rating: absolutely loved it and want a sequel
