It's a Monday, What are you Reading? (78)

What a sad week in reading.  With a chunkster and very little time, it was a slow week for me, maybe next week will be better!

I also got hit by the crazy storms on Friday night and was without power for a bit, so I retreated to my parents house where I end up chatting more than reading!  Hi Mom!

PS if you haven't checked out my mom's blog Ope's Opinions, she is loving this new community that is both welcoming and caring for newcomers.

Finished this past week:
You Take it From Here by Pamela Ribon

The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

Currently Reading:

Gods of Gotham by Lyndsay Faye
The After Wife by Gigi Levangie Grazer

Next off the TBR pile:

The Prisoner of Heaven by Carlos Ruiz Zafon

  2. Those are all new books to me. Happy reading.

My favorite read last week was The Bride's Kimono by Sujata Massey. Please come see what else I'm reading.

  3. I haven't heard of any of the books you listed but judging by what the people on Goodreads are saying they look really good! Enjoy your books!

    P.S. Already following your mom's blog :)

  4. I didn't get much read this past week either. Hopefully this week will be better.

I've not heard of the books you've named but the Carlos Ruiz Zafon series sounds interesting.

  5. I'm not familiar with your books this week, but I hope you are enjoying them.

Glad you survived the storm - we got a few hits, but didn't lose power.

    Have a great week!

  7. I loved the Shadow of the Wind, but I know what you mean about there being dull bits. Still, gotta love a book about books! :)
