Dewey's Read a thon 2011: Hour Twelve

So after a little break, I am back home and reading.  The craft show was a wild success, check out my sister's shop on Etsy - DayDreaming Gifts.  Back to the reading!

Currently Reading: The Sweet By and By by Sara Evans
Pages Read:  28
Running total of pages read: 232
Running total of time spent reading: 5 hours and 15 min
Mini-challenges completed: 2

How is your progress going?  I am still working on my first book.

Mid-Event Survey:
What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon? Come Back to Me by Melissa Foster
Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day? Nope, I couldn't because I had a craft show to attend to support the sis
Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those? Other than the craft show, we are interruptionless
What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far? Not surprised by anything yet, took me a bit to finish my first book
Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year? No suggestions yet
What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year? I would really have liked to set up camp somewhere for the day and ignore the outside world, maybe next time!
Are you getting tired yet? Not yet, but I know I may need a nap in a few hours

  1. Some people check into a hotel for the 'thon and I can see how that would cut down on the interruptions (and make you feel pampered)

    Have a great Readathon!
